The Buffalo Int'l Film Festival (BIFF) is a nonprofit that coordinates a multi-day annual event centered around independent cinema. While spearheading this year's design, I retooled the BIFF branding kit and style guide, building the key visual components around an updated motif. After establishing a new logo and brandmark, I  constructed a library of modular design elements, banded typeface pairings, and selected a color palette with WCAG considerations. With these foundational elements cemented, end products like the posters, advertisements, badges, laurels, and festival merchandise could be finalized and implemented.
